Prepares and operates laser machines to cut mylar for stencils while ensuring all products are inspected for defects. Maintains a clean work environment and collaborates with team leaders and the maintenance department.

Requirements

Candidates must be highly organized and capable of managing multiple workflow processes simultaneously. Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds is required.

Full job description

Summary: 

Prepares and operates laser machines that are used to cut mylar for stencils.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • The individual is required to inspect every stencil and package if required by the customer.  Inspection is to look for defective stencils (burn spots, line breakage, embossing not complete, etc).
  • To communicate with team leader if re-runs are needed to complete an order.  
  • Individuals must be highly organized, and task oriented and manage multiple workflow processes simultaneously.   
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment.
  • Submitting request to Maintenance department.
  • Work diligently and confidentially with direct supervisor.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned; this includes helping in Production and Finishing Department.

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience Required:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Language Skills: 

  • English required; Spanish is a plus.
  • Reasonable accommodation can be made, up to and including translation services.

Physical Demands: 

  • Position requires walking, standing for prolonged periods, occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. 

Work Environment: 

  • Non-temperature-controlled warehouse and non-temperature-controlled production floor.
