Provide emotional support and encouragement to individuals during their hospital stay to help them stay connected to recovery services. Assist with discharge planning and help patients access local community and recovery resources.
Candidates must be 18 years or older and possess strong communication skills and a non-judgmental approach. The role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Are you a compassionate listener who wants to make a real difference? As a Hospital Liaison Volunteer, you'll support people during their hospital stay, helping them stay connected to treatment and recovery services. You'll offer encouragement, build confidence, and help individuals access the support they need as they prepare to leave hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity which will allow you to gain experience of volunteering within the substance misuse field. You will be part of a supportive team and will receive comprehensive training and guidance to develop within the role.
