We have an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Support Worker who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and HMPPS security clearance.
Locations: HMP Liverpool
Hours: Full Time, 37.5 per week
Contract: Permanent
*Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays. Additionally, you'll receive one extra day of annual leave for each year of service during your first five years, therefore you will enjoy 30 days of leave after five years with us.

CGL’s Prison Drug and Alcohol Recovery service provides a range of evidence-based interventions for those experiencing difficulties with drugs and/or alcohol that enables and empowers individuals to change, grow and live whilst promoting a focus on recovery and independence. This includes harm minimisation, case management, psychosocial interventions, alternative therapies, diversionary activities, peer support and release planning. The DARS service works in partnership with commissioners, Prison Health partners and Prison establishments to achieve the best possible outcomes for the men in our care.An opportunity has arisen to recruit pro-active, determined and resourceful Recovery Support Workers, who have the ability to support the team.
The post holder is expected to work closely with the DARS and management team alongside Spectrum community health ensuring we deliver an effective and innovative service delivery.
There will also be a need to establish strong working relationships with other key stakeholders and providers within the prison establishment to ensure effective and robust pathways are in place and holistic packages of care are adhered to for service users.
The role requires effective working to a high quality, aspirational recovery service tailored to meet the needs of large, busy local prisons and through-the gate services.
