The role is responsible for managing the monthly financial close process, including journal entries, balance sheet analysis, and KPI reporting. Additionally, the position ensures compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements and assists with internal and external audits.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and five to seven years of relevant accounting experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Review, analysis and journal preparation
Distributions and assessment processing
Processing of product costing.
Balance sheet variance analysis
Local key performance indicators
Account reconciliations
Monthly plant cost variance analysis
Local financial & cost reporting enhancements
Asset componentization, retirement, and closure
Establishes and implements processes and procedures to meet departmental internal controls requirements. Ensures that established processes/procedures are followed as designed. Works with Internal Controls Department to identify deficiencies in existing processes/procedures, the need for new ones, and the extent to which such processes/procedures are being followed. Develops and implements corrective actions with regard to department internal controls as necessary.
Bachelor’s Degree with major in Accounting or equivalent.
Five to seven years of experience in various areas of accounting with increasing levels of responsibility required.
Must be proficient with basic computer skills and have fundamental working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Must be detail oriented and have a strong ability to problem-solve.
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
The ability to prove drug and alcohol free at random and for cause.
The actual base pay for the position may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job-related knowledge, and scope of the role, and could be outside of the posted pay range.
