The Disability Support Practitioner provides person-centered support to clients in a domestic setting, assisting with daily living needs, personal care, and household tasks. They are also responsible for administering medication, performing manual handling, and maintaining accurate documentation of client wellbeing.
Candidates must hold a current NSW Driver's Licence and be able to meet the physical requirements of the role, including manual handling. Essential certifications include an NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working With Children Check, and First Aid & CPR.

You will play a vital role in empowering clients to live as independently as possible, by helping them to achieve their goals and supporting their day-to-day wellbeing, dignity and quality of life.
About the Clients
CPA are seeking a Disability Support Worker to support clients at a SIL home in Cromer.
Role Overview
Your role is focused on providing support to clients in a domestic setting (in the home).
You will make a meaningful difference through supporting clients with daily living needs such as cooking and mealtimes and helping with cleaning & general household tasks.
You will also provide personal care to clients in a respectful and dignified manner, administer medication, and support clients to move around the house through manual handling and the use of specialised equipment such as hoists.
You'll also be asked to document and monitor client wellbeing, and collaborate effectively with other CPA staff to maintain a supportive team environment
