The Visitation Specialist transports children and biological parents to appointments and supervises their visits. They are responsible for documenting interactions, maintaining agency vehicles, and collaborating with specialists to coordinate services.
A high school diploma or GED is required, while a bachelor's degree in a human services field is preferred. One year of experience working with children and families is desired.
The Visitation Specialist provides supportive services to the Child Welfare cases under the direction of the Supervisor.
This position transports children and biological parents to necessary appointments and visits. This position also supervises visits and documents notes and performs additional needs as related to the Child Welfare Department.
