Founded in 1931, Capital Group is one of the world’s largest asset management firms with assets under management of over $3.2 trillion. Its resources serve as the backbone of Capital Group Private Client Services (PCS), which originated in 1974 as the family office for Capital Group executives. PCS has since grown into a $50B, full-service wealth management firm, with 250 associates that partner with advisors to deliver personalized planning, HNW portfolio construction, trust & estate services, and more to wealthy families around the country. The Outsourced Advisory Solutions (OAS) team is responsible for enhancing connectivity between PCS and Capital Group’s expansive financial advisor network.
The OAS Private Wealth Consultant (PWC) has responsibility for leveraging the CG brand through Capital Group wholesalers and financial intermediary channels to attract and retain HNW assets. The Private Wealth Consultant will grow OAS sales by partnering with Capital Group’s sales force to help advisors close complex high net worth sales. The PWC will serve as a critical bridge between Capital Group’s family office infrastructure and Capital Group’s Wealth Management and Institutional Retirement business.
As a Private Wealth Consultant (PWC), you will lead the OAS sales process in your territory by partnering with the Capital Group and PCS salesforces. Together you will identify advisors who need help acquiring and servicing the complex needs of high-net-worth households and will work directly with advisors to close business. You will source new opportunities and you will own the sales process, working in close partnership with the OAS Relationship Managers for new account discovery and onboarding, as well as the OAS Investment Specialist for due diligence, and portfolio solutions.
You have outstanding professional experience and industry knowledge, including a deep understanding of the HNW market, private wealth , and financial advisor needs.
You have a proven record of success as a leader in sales, with a demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with colleagues and external advisors.
You are credible and influential, possessing strong executive presence and professional maturity.
You are collaborative, partnering seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
You have a minimum of a Bachelors’ degree, with additional designations CIMA, CFP, CFA or CPWA strongly preferred. Series 65 required.
We are actively seeking candidates based in Los Angeles with defined regional coverage that will require substantial field-based travel.
The base salary for this role is $130,000-$210,000 + applicable bonuses.

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
