Trust Officer - Wealth
Responsible for the day-to-day management and administration for a wide variety of Wealth Management trust accounts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Role Responsibilities
Trust Administration
Responds promptly to client distribution requests and makes cash and asset distribution as required.
Understands the needs of and duties to the principals, income beneficiaries, and remaindermen.
Shows a high level of professionalism toward trust beneficiaries, financial advisors, and other service professionals.
Monitors the completion of trust tax returns.
Complies with Trust Administration checklists related to closing accounts and account reviews.
Completes annual account reviews as required by the South Dakota Division of Banking.
Prepares appropriate presentations for Trust Committee review.
Responsible for the administration of a complex book of personal trust accounts which may include supporting the administration of pooled trusts.

Able to communicate effectively with interact with beneficiaries, financial advisors, and other third-party professionals.
