To strengthen our team, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer (f/m/d) who supports the development teams by providing reliable, automated, and scalable infrastructure, build, and deployment processes for our software solutions in the field of microbial identification.
Aufgaben/Verantwortlichkeiten
Your Mission with Us:
You design, implement, and operate automated infrastructure and deployment pipelines supporting our software products in microbial identification.
You support the full lifecycle of our systems, from infrastructure provisioning and configuration to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
You establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, reproducible, and high-quality software deliveries.
You work closely with software developers, architects, and other stakeholders in an interdisciplinary and globally distributed team.
You actively contribute ideas and hands-on expertise to improve system stability, scalability, and operational excellence.
Qualifikationen
What You Bring:
A degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge and practical experience
Around two years of professional experience in DevOps, combined with hands-on software development experience and a strong understanding of software development practices.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Terraform
Ansible
Docker and Docker Compose
Python
CI/CD platforms (e.g. Github)
At least two years of experience with a major cloud infrastructure provider, preferably Microsoft Azure
Knowledge of test automation, Maven, .NET Core, and Kubernetes is considered a plus
Very good German and good English language skills
