The Account Manager will support Account Executives by managing commercial insurance paperwork, processing quotes, and maintaining customer files. They will also communicate directly with insurers and underwriters to negotiate terms and handle claims status updates.
Candidates must hold a valid RIBO license and possess at least one year of personal insurance experience, with commercial insurance experience preferred. Strong administrative, analytical, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Salary range (but not limited to):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, location etc. The salary range presented below is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.
We are looking for an Account Manager, Commercial Insurance to join our growing team!
As an Account Manager, Commercial Insurance, you’ll support Account Executives and work closely with other Account Managers on all aspects of commercial insurance, servicing a book of business.
This on-site position is available in our Sudbury, Ontario (2107 Lasalle Blvd) office.
Provide customers with prompt service by providing advice, helping customers understand insurance, discussing customer concerns
Receive and process all incoming Commercial paperwork
Assist with quotes to customers, write new business, review existing coverage and updating customer file information
Prepare documentation for insurers, complete applications for new clients, issue insurance certificates
Process endorsements, invoice, and follow up on payments
Communicate with Insurance companies, negotiate with underwriters on customers behalf, negotiate renewal of terms, follow up with Adjusters on claims status
Source and obtain additional information requested by the underwriter and complete applications
A valid RIBO license is required; Industry accreditation (CAIB, CIP) would be assets
At least one year of P&C personal insurance experience
P&C commercial insurance experience preferred
Strong customer focus and administration skills
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently in a competitive industry and be committed to superior customer service
