Responsibilities
As a Senior Insurance Advisor, you will provide exceptional customer service by helping customers select the right mix of insurance products and services. You will independently issue insurance products, collaborate with support teams, and achieve sales goals while maintaining documentation and customer accounts.
Requirements
Candidates should have at least 2 years of general insurance experience, including one year of selling homeowners insurance, and must hold a Level 2 Insurance license. Familiarity with technology and a limited history of Errors & Omissions in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC are also required.

What you bring:
At least2consecutiveyears’ experience of general insurance experience, including one year experience selling homeowners insurance.
Level 2 Insurance license
Completion of Autoplan Essentials
Limited history of Errors & Omissions and in good standing with the Insurance Council of BC
Comfortable using technology, including basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Bonus qualifications!CAIBcertification,experience usingICBCsystems,and abilityto speak other languages aside from English.
During a typical day, you will:
Independentlyissue BCAA insurance products and services to current and new customers to meet their needs.You’llhelp them secure and/or renew their policies by reviewing current coverage and making recommendations.
Collaborate with BCAA Support Teams and Underwriting to assess and recommend the right coverage for our customers.
Achieve sales and productivity goals while upholding BCAA and AAA/CAA Member experience goals and underwriting guidelines.
Leadcustomer accounts and documentation, from processing payments to issuing new, renewal,endorsementsand cancellations for Insurance policies, BCAA Memberships, andadditionalproducts and services.
Increase your industry knowledge andexpertisetowardsbecoming a teamleador people leader.You’llparticipatein BCAA’s training courses,maintainannual licensingrequirementsand keep up to date with the latest processes,productsand service offerings in the insurance industry in a supportive environment.
The salary range for this position is $56,605.68 to $70,757.04 and isdeterminedvia job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, marketdemandand internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 21.5%.
