We're looking for an IT Help Desk Specialist to be the friendly first point of contact for technical support across Awaed. In this role you'll keep our people productive by resolving day-to-day hardware and software issues, managing user accounts across our directory and productivity platforms, and partnering closely with our global teams to solve problems quickly and well. 1–3 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role.
Practical experience with Active Directory, Google Workspace, or Microsoft 365 administration.
A solid understanding of networking concepts and internal / private office networks.
Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and macOS environments.
Familiarity with common employee-facing business applications.
Excellent communication skills, patience, and a user-first attitude when handling support requests.
Strong written and spoken English for cross-team communication.
The ability to collaborate across teams in different countries (Egypt and Saudi Arabia).
The ability to prioritize and manage multiple support tickets under pressure.
Experience with root cause analysis and postmortems.
Provide day-to-day help desk support, resolving hardware and software issues for employees.
Manage and maintain user accounts across Active Directory, Google Workspace, and Microsoft 365.
Troubleshoot internal office network issues and perform initial-level network diagnostics.
Diagnose and resolve issues on employee devices running Windows and macOS.
Support internal and employee-facing software applications and resolve related issues.
Coordinate with the Egypt and Saudi Arabia teams to resolve shared technical issues.
Document recurring issues and solutions in the internal knowledge base and runbooks.
Escalate complex issues to senior IT and infrastructure staff when needed.
Experience in fintech, trading platforms, or high-frequency systems.
Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (a plus, not required).
Experience with ticketing systems such as Jira Service Management, Zendesk, or similar.
