As a Business Development Executive, you’ll manage a high-impact portfolio across grocery and liquor, working with major retailers like Coles, Woolworths, Dan Murphy’s and BWS.
This is a dynamic, on-the-road role where no two days are the same. In addition to the core metro area surrounding Newcastle, you will spend one day/week travelling regionally (no overnighters).
Key Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of retail accounts across Newcastle and regional NSW
Executing in-store promotions, displays and activations
Driving distribution, stock weight and visibility
Building strong relationships with store and grocery managers
Negotiating space and positioning to maximise sales outcomes
Coaching and leading a merchandiser
Delivering best-in-class execution across your territory
About You
If you love being on the road, negotiating space, and seeing your work come to life in-store, this is your role.
You are a driven and commercially minded sales professional who enjoys building strong customer relationships and delivering results. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your territory and are motivated by achieving and exceeding targets.
Experience in FMCG or retail (highly regarded)
A natural relationship builder who can influence and negotiate
Resilient, proactive and thrives in a fast-paced environment
Highly organised with strong time management skills
Hands-on and comfortable in a physically active role
Confident using digital tools and systems
