Description
As a member of the Sales Team, this position is responsible for maintaining and developing relationships with assigned accounts and prospects via predominately electronic means; develop new business by keeping a high level of focus on prospecting with Customer Service; follow-up on new business leads; and manage the territory in support of Arylessence’s short, medium, and long-term objectives for accounts, applications, and markets.
Essential Functions:
Relationship Management -Maintain and develop relationships at assigned accounts and prospects, provide superior customer service, and align customer needs with Arylessence’s capabilities to yield sustainable value growth.
Strategic Alignment – Collaborate with Arylessence leaders to negotiate, drive, and implement strategies. Coordinate as necessary with Sales colleagues with respect to interregional accounts.
Market intelligence – Monitor, analyze, and report on competitive activities, new business opportunities, Regulatory developments, customer perceptions, and market needs. Author, distribute, and log timely, call reports for all pertinent customer and market activities.
New Business – Develop new business by keeping a high level of focus on prospecting and lead follow-up.
Budget – Deliver the territory’s budgeted revenue, gross margin, and volume.
Account Planning – Author then utilizes account plans for top customers. Routinely report on progress against qualitative milestones and financial targets. Capture profiles of key customer leaders.
Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software as directed.
Regulatory Guideline Implementation: Efficiently provide regulatory guidance to customers as a resource.
Pricing Management: Communicate and document pricing targets to customers.
Respond to all customer concerns and refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments or assigned salesperson for further investigation.
Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken and all other customer file maintenance.
