The Mine Geologist will enforce safety standards and collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure successful grade drilling and data management. They will also assess ore loss and dilution, gather geological data, and prepare technical reports.
A degree in geology and 2 to 5 years of related experience are required, along with familiarity with mine planning and geological modeling software. Experience in open-pit gold mining and reverse-circulation drilling is considered an asset.
