The Seam Welder will set up and operate automatic and manual welding equipment to join metal components according to blueprints and work orders. They are also responsible for inspecting completed work for quality and performing minor equipment maintenance.
Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment and the ability to maintain a good attendance record. Previous experience with blueprint reading or operating robotic or sub-arc welding equipment is preferred.

As a Seam Welder, you’ll use jigs/holding fixtures to lay out pieces to be welded according to blueprints, layouts, schematics, or work orders. You’ll use manual/semi-automatic/automatic welding equipment to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials. The Auto Welder also inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and performs minor maintenance to equipment.
