Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians to ensure the timely completion of preventive and unscheduled work orders at a utility pole manufacturing plant. Diagnose and resolve operating issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using blueprints and electronic test equipment.
Requires successful supervisory maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment with a proactive approach to safety. Must possess a high level of expertise in diagnosing and correcting issues with PLC, CNC, or VFD programming and the ability to read blueprints.
Meyer Utility Structures is searching for a Maintenance Supervisor. In this role, you will lead and support the Clinton, IL utility pole manufacturing plant by leading and supporting a team of maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance and efficient resolution of unscheduled work orders. This role trains and coaches technicians while diagnosing and resolving operating issues across manufacturing machinery and facility systems, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry. The position uses blueprints, schematics, tools, and electronic test equipment to troubleshoot, repair, and modify computer-controlled and electronic equipment, including PLC/CNC wiring and programming, while maintaining strict adherence to safety practices and participating in safety initiatives as needed.
