About the Role
ANGARAI is seeking candidates interested in the Finance-HR-Contracts Internship role (Unpaid/Volunteer) with the education background in Commerce/Business (completed or pursuing) and/or experience in supporting end-to-end Financial operations, HR management & Payroll processing, and contracts management across ANGARAI INDIA and ANGARAI (USA). Reporting to Management, this role owns the angarAIX led Unified Enterprise Operating called A-Z BOS (ANGARAI - ZOHO | Business Operating System) includes and not limited to Zoho People, Zoho Payroll, SurePayroll, Zoho Books, Zoho Expense, Zoho CRM as single system of record and serves as the primary point of contact for all Functional Operations, Systems Management, Regulatory compliance and Reporting & Insights. The role supports financial governance, data integrity, audit readiness, and continuous improvement across both entities, operating in alignment with U.S. EST business hours.

Required Functional Skills
Finance
Finance Operations: Manage day-to-day financial and accounting operations for ANGARAI group of entities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
Finance Systems Management: Own and manage the A-Z BOS as the system of record — ensuring data accuracy, consistent usage, and structured financial documentation across all entities.
Finance Regulatory Compliance: Support daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities, ensure audit readiness, and maintain compliance per Company policy, ABOK, GAAP Accounting guidelines, IRS, CFR and local law and tax regulations.
Finance Reporting & Insights: Prepare, analyze, and review all financial statements, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, cashflow budgets, direct & indirect cost overhead rate, dashboards, and reports for management team review.
HR
HR Operations: Manage end-to-end HR functions and payroll processing for all ANGARAI group of entities, ensuring accurate employment life-cycle update, salary computation, deductions, and timely disbursement.
HR Systems Management: Maintain and update the A-Z BOS with employee and contractor onboarding, exits, salary revisions, leave adjustments, and benefits changes.
HR Regulatory Compliance: Ensure tax filing compliance including TDS, PF, ESI, and professional tax for India and federal/state payroll tax obligations for the U.S., coordinating with external advisors as needed.
HR Reporting & Insights: Oversee employee expense submissions, reimbursements, and approvals through Zoho Expense and maintain accurate employee information records; alert the management team on deviations.
Contracts
Contracts Management Operations: Manage and execute all Customer, Subcontractor, Vendor, Supplier, and Employee (CSVSE) contracts, including terms, invoicing, payroll-related agreements, and collections follow-ups to ensure timely execution.
Contracts Systems Management: Own and maintain all CSVSE contracts data and records within the A-Z BOS to ensure centralized data accuracy.
Contracts Regulatory Compliance: Monitor and enforce absolute compliance with all contractual obligations, milestones, payment terms, and customer, vendor, and employee contract clauses across all group entities.
Contracts Reporting & Insights: Track and analyze contract-related CSVSE income and expenditure to provide project profitability insights to the management team.
Required Professional Skills
Overall
Education: Commerce Graduate (B.Com / M.Com / BA / BBA / MBA - Finance) or equivalent degree in accounting, finance, or business administration; relevant certifications such as CA Inter, CMA, CPA, or CS are a plus.
Experience: Selection priority is given to candidates with overall demonstrated industry exposure in Finance, HR, or Contracts operations. Freshers with a strong command over Accounting principles and Zoho tools proficiency will be considered for this Internship role.
Availability: Must be available to work across U.S. and India time zones, aligned with U.S. Eastern Time (NY/DC) business hours.
