Provides case management and housing services to homeless individuals with serious mental illness, substance abuse, or other vulnerabilities. Collaborates with supportive housing teams and agencies to ensure long-term residential stability and compliance with HUD regulations.
A bachelor's degree in Human Services or a related field is preferred, along with experience managing homeless shelters or apartment complexes. Candidates must have a valid driver's license and knowledge of treatment issues related to dual diagnosis and mental health.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Provides case management/housing services to homeless individuals with a serious mental illness, chronic substance abuse, HIV/AIDS, fleeing domestic violence, medically fragile or dual diagnosis. This effort is done in collaboration with Permanent Supportive Housing team and social service agencies with whom Anawim Housing contracts.
The work is performed in a typical office or administrative environment as well as tenant apartments and outside. The worker could be exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
The minimum standard for use with those whose work deals largely with preparing and analyzing data and figures, accounting, transcription, computer terminal, and extensive reading.
