The Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential customers through outbound prospecting and inbound lead follow-up. They will manage the initial sales outreach, maintain CRM records, and schedule high-quality meetings for the sales team.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, preferably within fintech or SaaS. Proficiency in English and Spanish is required, along with strong communication skills and experience using CRM tools.

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a critical role in identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers for our solutions. You will be the first point of contact in our sales process, responsible for outreach, lead qualification, and setting up high-quality meetings for the sales team. This role requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and a proactive mindset to generate new business opportunities and help scale our customer base.

What you will do
Research and identify potential customers through outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and industry research.
Conduct outreach via email, LinkedIn, and phone calls to engage prospects and generate interest in AltScore’s solutions.
Qualify leads by understanding their business needs, challenges, and fit for our products.
Schedule and coordinate high-value meetings for the sales team with qualified prospects.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) to track interactions and pipeline progress.
Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize outreach strategies and improve messaging.
Continuously learn and refine best practices for prospecting, outreach, and lead qualification.
What you will need
2+ years of experience in a sales, business development, or customer-facing role, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or startups.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and English (Portuguese as a plus).
Strong ability to engage and build relationships through outbound sales strategies.
A self-starter mentality with high motivation and resilience in a fast-paced sales environment.
Experience using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) and sales engagement platforms.
Ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, and work independently.
A growth mindset with a passion for learning and improving sales skills.
