You will own end-to-end functional testing across UI, API, and database layers while partnering with Engineering and Product teams to ensure high-quality feature delivery. Additionally, you will build and maintain test automation frameworks and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines to support scalable product growth.
The role requires 5+ years of experience in QA or Software Test Engineering, preferably within a fintech or SaaS environment. Candidates must possess strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing, proficiency in Java and SQL, and a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

The opportunity
Altruist is in the midst of an exceptional growth phase and we're excited to hire a Senior QA Engineer to join our growing Engineering team.
In this role, you will own quality across our user-facing platform and the internal systems behind it, spanning the browser experience, API behavior, and data layer. You will lead exploratory manual testing and automation efforts to help ensure a fast, reliable, and scalable product experience. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who can uncover meaningful defects through thoughtful testing and build durable automation that keeps regression coverage strong as the product evolves. Working closely with Engineering, Product, and cross-functional partners, you will develop testing strategies for both core platform capabilities and AI-powered features to support high-quality feature delivery at scale.
