Candidates must have at least two years of supervisory experience in the food and beverage industry and be at least 21 years of age. Strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills are required, along with the ability to work weekends and holidays.
Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. Our staff consists of locals, transplants, seasonal workers from all 50 states and international students from around the globe. PURPOSE OF POSITION: Deer Valley has 16 food and beverage outlets ranging in service style from casual through to fine dining, with breakfast, lunch and dinner operations. We are hiring for the 2026-27 winter season and would love to talk with you if you are seeking a supervisory or management position in an amazing setting! RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
Schedule, supervise, train, and direct front-of-house staff, delegating tasks and monitoring performance, attendance, and productivity.
Manage payroll accuracy, cash handling, house banks, cash controls, end-of-day reconciliations, and sales reporting.
Oversee daily restaurant, bar, and facility operations, including opening/closing procedures and adherence to published operating hours.
Maintain inventory controls for food, beverage, liquor, wine, and supplies, and coordinate ordering to meet business demands.
Ensure accurate POS transactions, service charges, voids, and compliance with all cash handling and operational procedures.
Provide hands-on operational support by assisting with bartending, serving, expediting, bussing, guest service, and break coverage as needed.
Support special events, banquets, reservations, and interdepartmental operations to ensure smooth guest experiences.
Maintain operational logs, performance records, and equipment/facility oversight while implementing process improvements and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
