The Laboratory Assistant is responsible for independently weighing geological pulp samples and maintaining analytical quality according to established procedures. They must also ensure a clean and safe work environment while managing labware and disposing of sample waste correctly.
Candidates must have a Grade 11 qualification or equivalent and at least 3 months of laboratory experience in a production environment. The role requires basic computer skills, the ability to lift up to 20lbs, and availability to work 24/7 shifts including weekends.

About the Position
Independently weigh prepared pulp for the analysis of geological samples. Uses correct methods in accordance with established procedures and schedules while ensuring analytical quality.
