The Associate Client Executive will be responsible for managing and nurturing client relationships, driving the retention and growth of a portfolio. They will also be the dedicated liaison for their own portfolio of clients, providing them with excellent service and support. This position is client-focused and can build relationships and retain a book of business for the company.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage the renewal processes, collaborating with account management and underwriting for renewals on the assigned book of business. Position and showcase products, rates, stop loss, and expanded product portfolios to increase sales and maximize revenue. Process receipts and prepare Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to send to underwriting and stop loss vendors. Perform routine operational tasks associated with evaluating an RFP (e.g., disruption). Act as a client-facing representative, providing support during open enrollments, independently conducting open enrollment presentations, and effectively addressing member issues. Assist in resolving routine problems (i.e., underwriting, reporting, billing, employer, and member concerns, etc.) by working with the appropriate departments and the Account Manager to ensure resolution. Help facilitate the renewal of existing cases by managing claim reviews, stop loss marketing, and setting service level expectations. Produce and analyze Ad Hoc reporting when requested from the client/broker/Account Executive.

EDUCATION
College degree or equivalent work experience required.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
At least 1 year of experience in an account management role required. Working knowledge of employee medical benefit plans. Experience with Group health insurance and self-funded health plans preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate level work experience with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel Access, and Power Point software applications. Proven ability to deliver public presentations, presenting benefits and compliance information in a clear and engaging manner. Must be organized and detail oriented.
