The Line Aircraft Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, dismantling, and assembly of aircraft machinery and mechanical devices. They also act as cockpit coordinators to ensure the safe operation of aircraft systems during maintenance procedures.
Candidates must hold a valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license and possess strong knowledge of FAA regulations and aircraft systems. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting 70 lbs and working flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

The Line Aircraft Technician is responsible for repair and maintenance of aircraft for the Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) division of Alaska Airlines (AS). As a member of the M&E division, this individual contributor role performs all functions in the repair and maintenance of aircraft, which includes dismantling, repairing, assembly, and erection of machinery and mechanical devices. This is a union represented position.
