Responsible for the safe filling, handling, inspection, and storage of high-pressure gas cylinders. This includes operating plant equipment, monitoring inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe dock area.
Requires a high school diploma or GED and one year of relevant experience. Must be physically capable of lifting up to 100+ lbs and working in various weather conditions.
The Cylinder Filler position is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient filing, handling, inspection, and storage of high-pressure gas cylinders for American Gas Products, Inc. (“AGPI”). This role reports to the Depot Manager and has no direct reports.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in a plant/warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure during the workday; may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
This is a full-time position. Standard workdays are at least 8 hours, with additional hours as required.
High school diploma or GED; one (1) year of relevant experience.
