The Staff Accountant is responsible for daily loan funding, investor purchase reconciliations, and recording financial transactions. They ensure company compliance with regulatory requirements and manage accounts payable and wire transfer processing.
Candidates should preferably have at least 2 years of mortgage banking experience and a strong understanding of GAAP. High accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to manage reconciliation processes in a fast-paced environment are required.
