The Accounting Generalist is responsible for managing the accounts receivable cycle, including wedding and group billing, and ensuring accurate general ledger postings. They will also collaborate with the finance team on accounts payable, inventory control, and daily cash management tasks.
Candidates should possess a college degree in Business or Accounting and have previous experience in hospitality operations or accounts receivable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with hotel operating systems like Opera PMS or POS systems is required.

Additionally, we are Whistler's largest conference resort hotel, offering 5 unique dining outlets, a slope-side Health Club, and 519 guestrooms and suites.
The Finance Department of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler is looking for a dynamic, organized and collaborative team player. This role requires proficiency in Client Accounts Receivable billing (wedding, group) as a primary role, with general ledger accounting exposure to process receivable accounts, while ensuring adherence to standards required by corporate policies.
Salary Range: $56,000 - $58,200 per annum dependent on experience
This position is available for an immediate start. If you are unable to start right away, we will be launching our winter recruitment campaign in early August for roles with start dates between October and December.
