The intern will support AARP Washington's policy advocacy and community engagement efforts by conducting research, planning events, and coordinating volunteer activities. They will also assist in drafting communications and creating promotional materials to support priority issues like healthcare and financial security.
Candidates must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate junior, senior, graduate student, or post-doctoral student. Applicants should possess strong research and analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Zoom, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly range is $21.30 for undergraduates and graduate students, and $28 for Ph.D. candidates. Internships are non-exempt positions and are not eligible for employee benefits.
