Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, be board-certified in Gastroenterology, and possess a valid medical license. Required certifications include DEA and BLS/ACLS.
This is a contract position that requires on-site work, offering an exceptional opportunity to contribute to patient care within the Medical Practice industry.
As a Locum Gastroenterologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders. You'll be working closely with our medical staff to ensure that all patients receive the attention and treatment they deserve. This position not only allows you to apply your medical expertise but also contributes significantly to patient outcomes and community health initiatives. We offer a competitive yearly salary, reflective of your experience and skills.
Schedule: 7a-3:30p, 2 days per week
No call or weekends required
10-12 cases per day
Duties: Evaluations, follow‑ups, consults, and procedures
Full range of colonoscopy and EGD procedures, including biopsies, polypectomies, snare removals, ablations, variceal banding, and control of bleeding
Any active, unrestricted U.S. medical license accepted
Must be board-certified
DEA, BLS/ACLS required
