The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants call external tools. Clera MCP gives your AI access to Clera's candidate network and hiring tools, so you can search, review and request intros from inside the chat.
Anything that speaks MCP: Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor, Grok, Windsurf, VS Code, Zed and more. If your client can add a remote MCP server by URL, Clera works in it.
Yes. Paste "Set up Clera for hiring: www.getclera.com/SKILL.md" into Claude, Cursor, Codex or ChatGPT. That URL is an agent skill: it tells your assistant which install path fits the client it is running in, how to check you are signed in with the right account, and how to run the first search through to an intro.
You need a Clera company account with candidate search enabled. Existing teams can connect their account; new teams can request access. Candidate accounts can only check their account with whoami. Job seekers should sign up through the Clera website.

When you find a candidate you like, ask for an intro. Clera's team contacts the candidate for you, talks with them, and reports back. You never cold-message anyone directly.
Only the arguments of the tools your assistant calls: search filters, a role, a reason for a pass, a note you asked it to send. Never the rest of the conversation. Each tool call is logged with your account and company so we can run and improve the service. Details are in our privacy policy at getclera.com/privacy.

MCP access is free for early-access companies during beta. Hiring through Clera carries the standard success fee: 15% of the hire's first-year base salary. We'll share any changes to MCP access pricing before the beta ends.
