The Occupational Therapist Assistant provides occupational therapy modalities and treatment procedures based on established treatment plans. They are also responsible for the care of patients treated by rehabilitation technicians and students, as well as providing guidance to assigned staff.
Candidates must hold an Associate’s Degree from an approved Occupational Therapist Assistant Program and possess current Georgia licensure or compact privileges. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the AHA is required upon hire.
