In this position you will be working with a team of engineers to develop next generation hybrid electric engineering systems for Aerospace Industry to invent the future of the flight.

This is a paid internship opportunity. Only candidates who have been enrolled as students for at least 6 months will be considered. The internship duration is up to 11 months, consisting of an initial 6-month period with a possible 5-month extension.

GE Aerospace has an advanced engineering center located in İstanbul, Kartal, complemented by cutting-edge laboratories in Gebze, Kocaeli. • A methodical approach to the full hardware design lifecycle
• A good understanding of power supply design AC-DC, DC-DC, Inversion
• Understanding of low temperature PEM fuel cell technology and its associated electrochemical governing equations.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate is a motivated and methodical electrical or electronics engineering student with a strong understanding of power supply design and low-temperature PEM fuel cell technology, coupled with hands-on experience in circuit simulation environments and programming skills, eager to contribute to innovative aerospace projects in a collaborative and growth-oriented team.

Required Qualifications:

• BSc (year 3th/4th not graduated) or MSc student of electrical and/or electronics or similar engineering.
• Must remain enrolled as a student throughout the internship period
• Have familiarity with electrical circuit simulation environments like PLECS, Matlab/Simulink, PSIM, Proteus.
• Eager to study the technology of low temperature PEM fuel cell
• Have familiarity with Matlab, Octave or PLECS functional block programming scripts

Preferred Qualifications

• Good command of English & Turkish (reading/writing)
• Eager to learn

• Self-motivated
• Preferred to have experience with simulation of control systems
• Preferred to have experience with C, C++ or Python is a plus
• Preferred to have experience with embedded programming of power electronics controls
• Familiarity with architectures of microprocessor families from TI, ST or some other vendors
