The Automation Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing automated manufacturing equipment in a high-volume welding environment. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate degree or technical certification preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, robotics, or automated manufacturing is required.

Toledo Tool & Die is adding Automation Maintenance Technicians to our Bennett Road team to support our continued growth.
This is a full-time position based in Toledo, Ohio. We offer competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a clean, safe work environment.
Must be available to work overtime (daily, weekends & some holidays)
The Automation Maintenance Technician is a cross-functional technical role within the Maintenance Department responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, programming, and continuously improving automated manufacturing equipment in a high-volume automotive welding environment.
The Automation Maintenance Technician partners closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Controls Engineering, Production, Quality, and Tooling to diagnose equipment issues, implement corrective actions, support new equipment installations, and improve manufacturing processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Work will be performed in a warehouse/manufacturing facility. The position requires frequent sitting, standing, and walking with occasional bending. Employees may lift, carry, push/pull, and reach for supplies and may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds while performing various aspects of the job.
The position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, organize and prioritize responsibilities, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
Monday-Friday; must be present to fulfill job duties and meet operational demands. Schedule may vary depending on plant operational needs, and flexibility is required. This may include long days, occasional evenings, and weekends. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position. The position may require travel to meetings, conferences, workshops, or other facilities.
