Summary: As a Blending Technician, you'll work in the "kitchen of the plant," preparing beverage batches by following detailed formulas and procedures to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll measure and verify ingredients, operate and clean equipment, complete production documentation, and work closely with your team to keep production running efficiently. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment that offers the opportunity to learn valuable skills, contribute to products enjoyed by customers across the country, and grow your career with Carolina Beverage Group.

Work Environment
This position is based in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where team members play an important role in producing high-quality beverage products. Employees spend much of the day on their feet and may work in wet or humid conditions. Temperatures within the facility may vary depending on the season and production needs, including exposure to both warm and cooler conditions.
The production floor can be noisy, and required personal protective equipment includes hearing protection and hair restraints. Team members regularly work around moving production equipment and are expected to follow all safety procedures and food safety requirements.
Employees may occasionally work on elevated platforms and around cleaning and sanitation chemicals while using established safety practices and protective equipment.
CHEERWINE IS THE SOUTH’S UNIQUE CHERRY SOFT DRINK
The Carolina Beverage Corporation was started in Salisbury, NC by a general store owner named LD Peeler. Peeler first began distributing a soft drink called Mint Cola. In 1917 during a World War I sugar shortage, LD Peeler began experimenting with other flavors and developed the soft drink Cheerwine. Today Cheerwine is the primary beverage sold by the company. The company is still based in Salisbury and is privately owned and managed by the same founding family, five generations of whom have worked there. 2017 marks the 100th anniversary of Cheerwine.
