The trainee will learn to operate raw milk unloading and HTST systems while maintaining equipment sanitation and safety standards. They are responsible for monitoring operational parameters, completing inspection checklists, and ensuring product quality meets regulatory requirements.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old with the ability to read, write, and comprehend basic English. Preferred qualifications include two years of manufacturing experience, machinery troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with HMI systems.
For our state-of-the art 600+ person Lubbock, TX cheese and whey manufacturing facility, Leprino is seeking a Milk Receiver Trainee.
The Milk Receiving / HTST Trainee is an entry‑level role focused on learning the safe and efficient operation of raw milk unloading and the Raw HTST systems. Under close supervision, the trainee supports the handling, receiving, and loading of dairy commodities for internal and external customers. After completing all required training and demonstrating proficiency, the Trainee will advance to the Milk Receiving / HTST Operator position.
All other duties as assigned.
NOTE: The job may include other “non-essential” responsibilities and duties that are not listed on this form.
As a Trainee, you will learn to:
Two years of work experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment; trouble shooting machinery in a manufacturing environment; and experience working with HMIs are preferred.
