You will work closely with other team members to ensure the successful completion of solar projects in compliance with design schematics and safety standards.
· Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites for solar installations, including leveling ground and removing debris.
· Assembly: Assist in assembling solar modules, panels, and supporting structures.
· Equipment Operation: Use hand and power tools, as well as other equipment, to perform tasks such as measuring, cutting, and fastening materials.
· Installation Support: Support electricians and other skilled workers in installing electrical components and wiring for solar systems.
· Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
· Quality Control: Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
· Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized worksite, including proper disposal of waste materials.
· Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
· Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials, often weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
· Standing and Walking: Prolonged periods of standing and walking across uneven terrain.
· Climbing: Climbing ladders and scaffolding to access different parts of the installation.
· Bending and Stooping: Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to install and inspect components.
· Manual Dexterity: Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling tools and small components.
· Weather Conditions: Working outdoors in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain.
· Safety Gear: Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
