The Estimator manages the end-to-end estimation process for electrical gear, including technical review, pricing, and order negotiation. They coordinate with manufacturers and contractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification.
Requires a high school diploma and preferably 1-3 years of experience in the electrical industry. Candidates must be able to interpret technical specifications and be proficient with standard software applications.

When a contractor needs electrical gear configured, priced, and delivered to spec, the estimate is the foundation everything else is built on. Get it right and the project keeps moving; get it wrong and the cost compounds at every step downstream.
The Project Estimator owns that foundation. Working closely with contractors, vendors, and the Gear team, this role takes a project from technical document review through pricing, negotiation, and coordination — making sure the details are right, the timeline holds, and the customer has confidence Shepherd will come through. This is a role for someone who takes ownership of outcomes, not just tasks, as project volume and complexity continue to grow.

Work Shift and Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm, in office
Compensation Details: The expected base salary for this position is starting at $75,000 annually depending on experience.
