Responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of the BEUMER Individual Carrier System (ICS) at the airport. This includes diagnosing faults, performing preventive maintenance, and monitoring system performance via PLC and SAC systems.
Requires an associate degree or technical certification in Mechatronics or Engineering with 2-5 years of experience in automated material handling. Candidates must be eligible for airside security clearance and proficient in PLC diagnostics and industrial protocols.

The Technician II will be responsible for the electrical and mechanical maintenance of the baggage handling system. The required maintenance will follow processes and procedures established for the overall system maintenance and requests for service which includes both electrical or mechanical work. This position will perform work under supervision of the Shift Supervisor. This role will support the BEUMER Individual Carrier System (ICS) at Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR).
Pay Rate: $34.11 per hour
The posted hourly rate reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position.
