Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and resolving complex problems that impact multiple system components. The position demands continuous engagement with evolving system environments to ensure seamless operation and minimal disruption to business activities, fostering a reliable and efficient technology landscape.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to streamline support processes and improve system reliability.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their technical and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- Strong knowledge of database architecture, backup and recovery techniques, and performance tuning.
- Experience in managing database security, user access, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in high-pressure environments.
- Familiarity with database automation tools and scripting for routine maintenance tasks.
- Skilled in monitoring database health and implementing proactive measures to prevent downtime.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
