The role involves the design, assembly, and operation of winding and cabling machines for High Temperature Superconducting cables. Responsibilities include performing quality control on REBCO tapes and programming PLCs for electro-mechanical systems.
Candidates must have a general secondary education diploma and a maximum of two years of professional experience in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Experience in electrical testing, circuit diagrams, and mechanical assembly is required or preferred.
You will be working on development of High Temperature Superconducting (HTS) cables and coils. You will work on the design, assembly, commissioning and operation of winding and cabling machines used to produce HTS cables with REBCO tapes.
We will teach you everything you need to know, the most important is that you are curious and eager to learn.
