Summary:
As a Packaged/SaaS Application Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the design and continuous improvement of packaged or software as a service solutions. This role requires managing the configuration, integration, and release processes to ensure seamless delivery. The individual dedicates time to establishing and maintaining platform standards that guarantee system stability and optimal performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives and vendor requirements is a key aspect of daily activities. The role demands a proactive approach to evolving the platform in response to emerging needs and challenges.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to define and enforce best practices and standards for packaged and software as a service solutions.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
- Strong knowledge of database configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in managing database integrations within complex software environments.
- Ability to design and implement database release and upgrade strategies.
- Familiarity with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning for database systems.
- Skilled in monitoring database health and ensuring data integrity and security.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM DB2 Database Administration.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
