Provide spiritual, emotional, and practical support to patients and families during urgent needs, crises, and non-emergent referrals. Document assessments and interventions in electronic medical records while collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Requires theological education including courses in spiritual care and the ability to be available for nights and weekends. A Master of Divinity or Clinical Pastoral Education from an ACPE accredited site is preferred.

Work as an extension of the department of Spiritual Care Services on nights, weekends and holidays, from 7am-11pm, to assist patients and families at the time of urgent need. To assist in managing times of crisis as well as other less urgent spiritual care needs. On-Call Chaplains may also assist Senior Chaplain and Staff Chaplains upon special request.
