Full job description
Medison is a rapidly growing global pharmaceutical company with a strong international footprint, operating across 4 continents and more than 24 countries. Our mission is to expand access to highly innovative therapies for patients suffering primarily from cancer and rare diseases across global markets. If you are motivated by impact, complexity, and building scalable global capabilities, we invite you to join our mission.
We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and strategic New Partner and Product Integration (NPPI) Lead to drive end‑to‑end excellence in onboarding, planning, and operational integration of new strategic partners into Medison’s global ecosystem. This role will lead and coordinate all cross-functional activities - including Supply Chain, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, Quality Assurance, Finance, Legal, Medical, and Commercial - ensuring alignment with the Medison Partner Integration Playbook. The primary objective is to enable rapid, seamless integration of new partners while ensuring all activities remain on track for timely, launch-ready product delivery. This role is critical to ensuring readiness, alignment, coordination and flawless execution across functions and geographies when introducing new partners, assets, or collaborations.
The NPPI Lead will design, lead, and continuously enhance Medison’s global New Partner and Product Integration Playbook and framework, acting as the central PMO and orchestration point across global, and regional teams. The role partners closely with the Global Brand & Alliance Lead while owning structured planning, risk mitigation, governance, and performance tracking from deal signing through full operational handover.
This is a global role requiring strong PMO expertise, cross‑functional leadership, strong business acumen and operational rigor in complex, fast‑moving environments. The position reports to the Global Head of Commercial Operations. Location is flexible, preferably in Central Eastern Europe. Regular international travel is expected.
Responsibilities
New Partner and Product Integration Strategy & Framework Development
Develop, refine, and implement a standardized global New Partner and Product Integration (NPPI) framework, including governance, detailed playbooks, templates, and activity trackers, to ensure consistent and high-quality partner onboarding across all regions.
Design end‑to‑end NPPI roadmaps and integrated plans, covering commercial, medical, regulatory, supply, quality, IT/data, and financial readiness.
Build structured timeline planning, dependency mapping, and milestone tracking tools to ensure alignment between Medison and partner organizations.
Define and monitor clear KPIs, dashboards, and success metrics to track NPI progress, readiness, risks, and value realization across countries and functions.
PMO Leadership & Cross‑Functional Coordination
Act as the central PMO lead for all New Partner Integrations, ensuring disciplined planning, execution, and governance across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Lead the global NPPI Steering Committees and Working Groups, aligning Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Quality, Alliance Management, Finance, IT, and Legal teams.
In close collaboration with the relevant global functional lead, engage regional or local teams as needed to address specific issues, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and promptly.
Partner closely with Global Launch Excellence and Global Brand & Alliance Lead to translate deal terms into clear, executable operational plans, including aligned systems and processes, supporting the delivery of integrated global go-to-market, launch, and brand plans with defined ownership and milestones.
Proactively identify interdependencies, resource constraints, and critical path items, driving timely decision‑making and issue resolution.
Partner & Product Integration and Readiness Execution
Lead structured partner onboarding, transition, and integration activities, ensuring clear alignment on operating models, systems and processes, ways of working, decision rights, and escalation pathways.
Lead the cross-functional NPPI Taskforce - including Tech Ops, Finance, and Commercial teams - to ensure the necessary infrastructure, systems, and processes are in place to successfully transition new products and enable commercial teams to execute their launch plans.
Support local markets and global functions during preparation and execution phases to ensure readiness for asset transfer, launch activities, or ongoing collaboration.
Facilitate formal readiness reviews, risk assessments, and challenge sessions at key NPI milestones.
Anticipate gaps, challenge assumptions, and drive mitigation plans to protect timelines, compliance, and business objectives.
Process, Systems & Governance
Design, implement, own and continuously improve NPI processes, templates, digital tools, and governance mechanisms to streamline planning, reporting, and execution.
Ensure consistent adoption of PMO standards, documentation, and reporting across regions and functions.
Drive a culture of accountability, transparency, and execution excellence, enabling early escalation and data‑driven decision‑making.
Capture lessons learned and translate them into continuous improvements and best‑practice standards for future partnerships.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
Partner closely with Global Launch Excellence and Global Brand & Alliance Lead ensuring clarity, empowerment, and alignment throughout the NPI lifecycle.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with global functional leaders, Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs), and Country Managers (CMs), and act as a trusted senior point of contact for both internal leadership and external partners on NPI progress, risks, and strategic matters.
Serve as a trusted senior interface for internal leadership and external partners on NPI progress, risks, and strategic topics.
Deliver concise, high‑quality updates to executive leadership, including status summaries, scenario assessments, and recommended actions.
Requirements
Proven expertise in leading complex, multi‑country, cross‑functional initiatives within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with strong exposure to partnerships, alliances, or asset in‑licensing.
Advanced PMO and program management capabilities, including planning, risk management, dependency tracking, and executive reporting.
Strong analytical and structural thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights and recommendations.
Global mindset with experience operating across diverse geographies (e.g., EU/CEE, APAC, LATAM).
High resilience and ability to navigate ambiguity, evolving deal dynamics, and competing priorities.
Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of aligning senior stakeholders across functions and organizations.
Strong business acumen, problem‑solving orientation, and proactive mindset.
Highly collaborative leader who constructively challenges assumptions and manages conflict professionally.
Demonstrated ability to lead without formal authority and drive alignment in decentralized, matrixed organizations.
Highest ethical standards, fostering trust, integrity, and respectful cross‑functional and external collaboration
University degree in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, business, or a related field; advanced degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the innovative pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with a strong focus on New Product Introduction and Partnership Integration, operating as a global PMO across multiple functions, including Technical Operations (Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Pharmacovigilance), as well as Medical, Commercial Operations, and Finance.
Track record of successfully leading complex global or regional programs involving multiple stakeholders and external partners; strategy consulting background strongly preferred.
Strong project and portfolio management expertise, managing multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Fluency in English; additional languages (particularly European or Asian) are an advantage.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth, global organization.
Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally as required.
