The Receiving Assistant supports the Receiving Manager in managing incoming products, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining an organized back room. They are also responsible for providing customer service, handling register functions, and assisting with store opening and closing activities.
A high school diploma and experience in retail, grocery, or receiving environments are preferred, along with prior supervisory experience. Candidates must be able to obtain forklift certification and be proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory software.
The Receiving Assistant is responsible for assisting the Receiving Manager in the successful operation of the receiving department.
