4. Customer Consultation: Provide expert advice to customers on gemstone selection, quality, and value, as well as guidance on gemstone care and maintenance.
5. Report Writing: Prepare detailed reports on gemstone examination and evaluation results, including photographs and diagrams.
1. Education: Graduate Gemologist (GG) or Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP) certification from a recognized institution, such as the Gemological Institute of America (GIA).
2. Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in gemstone examination, evaluation, and appraisal.
3. Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
4. Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of gemstone characteristics, identification techniques, and market trends.
