The Video Production Lead is responsible for defining the creative vision and scaling video and livestream capabilities for BJAK Malaysia. This includes leading the production team, managing technical standards, and developing scalable workflows to drive brand impact.
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field and over 5 years of experience in video and livestream production. Proven experience in leading creative teams and a strong technical knowledge of production equipment are required.

BJAK is looking for a Video Production Lead to own and scale our video and livestream capabilities across Malaysia. This role will play a key part in shaping how BJAK communicates, educates, and builds trust with users through video-first content.
You will be responsible for strategy, production quality, and team leadership—working closely with internal stakeholders to support growth and brand impact in the Malaysian market.
Define the creative vision and video strategy for BJAK Malaysia.
Identify trends, formats, and storytelling approaches relevant to Malaysian audiences.
Ensure all video output aligns with BJAK’s brand, product, and business goals.
Develop scalable production workflows, studio setups, and equipment standards in Malaysia.
Create playbooks and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
Introduce new tools, formats, and production methods to continuously improve output.
Lead planning and execution of video and livestream campaigns.
Ensure high technical standards across filming, lighting, sound, graphics, and editing.
Provide live direction during livestreams to optimise engagement and performance.
Lead and mentor the local video and production team.
Set KPIs, monitor performance, and raise creative standards.
Work closely with marketing, growth, and product teams in Malaysia.
Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
5+ years of experience in video and livestream production.
Strong track record delivering high-quality video content at scale.
Experience leading or mentoring creative or production teams.
Solid technical knowledge of production equipment and editing tools.
Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-moving environment.
