What You’ll get to Do:
Utilizes Data Analytics to analyze existing operational processes and develop metrics and reporting to optimize and improve program & operational performance.
Lead efforts as Digital Transformation Champion to align Sunnyvale's goals with the sector and enterprise strategies.
Creates new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance.
Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently.
Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints.
Develop optimized scheduling tools and align SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints.
Communicates requirements, planning, and systems framework with IT, ERP, business analytics, and data science teams.
Must be available on-site to support manufacturing and its schedule of operations.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Solid presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas.

Basic Qualifications Industrial Engineer:
Bachelor’s degree with 2 or more years of industrial engineering or manufacturing experience; OR master’s degree with 0 or more years of industrial engineering or manufacturing experience.
Experience with time studies and capacity modeling.
Experience with shop floor controls (SOPs).
Experience with Process control methods (SPC/control charts).
Experience with Process Capability Analysis (Cp, Cpk, Pp, Ppk).
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications Principal Industrial Engineer:

Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
2 years of demonstrated experience leading project teams.

Primary Level Salary Range: $83,400.00 - $155,400.00Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
