Full job description
Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Rolls-Royce SMR provides a British solution to a global energy challenge, leading the way in Small Modular Reactor technology and shaping the UK’s premier green export opportunity.

Own multi-customer Programme Management of New Part Introduction for the power station including commitment acceptance of any new SC NPI load into their category and ownership of cross-functional resource and capability planning and ensure prioritisation of commercial and investment decision-making.
Provide governance within the supply chain for all NPI activities using a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary structured framework such as APQP and PPAP
lead the resolution of issues and competing priorities across multiple functions of the business and within supplier organisations to ensure execution of Rolls-Royce SMR business priorities.
Determine Supply Chain input for future projects/customers for the commodities within their categories, integrating cost, capital, supply chain load and capacity, strategy, technology and resource inputs considering risk and opportunities.
We seek an experienced Programme leader who, recognising that this role is the first of its kind in the nuclear sector, will embrace the challenge of creating a best-in-class team. Strategic, pragmatic, charismatic and disciplined, the Senior Programme Manager must bring experience of:
Leading cross-functional teams to deliver Industrialised products and processes in tight timescales with a large degree of autonomy

Experience of integrating multiple supplier/partner organisations to a project/programme or portfolio with common/aligned goals.
The ability to govern interdependent workstreams while proactively identifying and mitigating risks
And if you can offer working knowledge of tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, SAP and Power BI - coupled with APM accreditation or a Prince 2 qualification - then this really is a role that you should consider.
