We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Division Head, Non-Financial Risk Management

In this role you will:

• Lead and drive the development of proactive risk management strategies to support the safe growth agenda of AMH CMB Business Banking.
• Drive implementation of initiatives to optimise risk assessment and other internal processes to effectively manage financial crime risks along the customer life cycle, balancing customer experience, risk exposure and business outcomes.   
• Collaborate with an extensive range of stakeholders to manage changes to non-financial risks related procedures and controls to protect business while ensuring no compromise to customer experience and business.
• Develop and implement a strong people strategy, ensuring people are engaged, supported and motivated.
• Lead teams to effectively execute against the department’s book of work covering customer onboarding approvals, periodic reviews, trigger reviews, AI surveillance triggers, remediation activities, CSEM case reviews, etc., in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide second-level up assessment and/or approval to strike a balance across treating customer fairly, safeguarding the AMH CMB BB portfolio from financial crime risks, and supporting business growth.
• Manage team’s performance monitoring, coaching and upskilling, resource planning, and capacity optimization to ensure effective non-financial risks management.
• Act as Non-Financial Risk (NFR) subject matter expert in Business Banking and represent business for discussions with stakeholders in NFR matters. 

To be successful you will need:

• Proven banking experience with sound knowledge of commercial banking products, services and procedures.
• In-depth knowledge of non-financial risk management policy and procedures, operational and fraud risk prevention, Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Ordinance and Customer Due Diligence.
• Proven record of leadership, successful change management and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with extensive range of stakeholders.
• Excellent ability to lead, motivate and inspire people.
• Strong problem solving, analytical and influencing skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving business landscape.
